I am obsessed. I cannot help it. I’m going to have to go get the audio books from the library and put them on my computer so I can do to them what I do to Harry Potter. Have you seen pictures of the cast for the movie? Here’s one of Edward.

Let me just say that every day I become more pleased with the choices for Edward and Bella. Robert Patterson looks perfect for Edward….I totally want to be all over him (HWSNBNITB, I hope you are not reading this, and if you are, don’t worry, I would not be all over him, it is just because of my over active imagination that has been fueled by Stephenie Meyer). I’m also really pleased with Kristen Stewart as Bella. She’s pretty but not so pretty that you look at her and get super jealous because of her looks ( I will get super jealous because 1- she is playing Bella, 2-she gets to be all over Robert Patterson aka Edward Cullen). Sighs.
Well, I’m really going to have to start doing stuff – I was just informed that on top of my lab reports, I now have a new baby boy, William, to visit!

I wasn’t all that impressed by Robert initially. BUT after I watched the trailers and other clips on YouTube, I was like, HE IS SO EDWARD. In fact, he looks best when he’s playing Edward. I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE MOVIE!!!!!! Edward, be mine

I don’t want to be ignorant since I didn’t read the books, but after watching a few trailers of the movie I ask myself…How is this movie any different from the old movie altar boys?…or any other vampire teen cult movie?
Joel – I’ve never seen Altar Boys, and I’m not into anything other Vampire related, so I can’t really answer your question. I don’t like the concept of drinking blood really. That’s part of why I like Twilight so much – because the main vampires fight their blood drinking nature (well, human blood drinking anyways). Also, it is told from the view point of a non-vampire, Bella, so I think the book is less about Vampires and more about her love for Edward. Anyone else want to weigh in on this one?

ngtlindsay – good point. I have nothing against Twilight, I just think it over hyped and it’s going to be another teen movie sensation like Harry Potter + the books. Anyways, I might end up seeing it or not, but the more I hear about it and how it’s constantly being advertised and “in my face” I might get sick of it to even see the movie. I guess I feel the way I do because vampire movies and the whole vampire cult has been done to death, no pun intended. One vampire movie that I really enjoyed and was a breath of fresh air was Interview with the Vampire.

I also love Twilight. The movie was amazing! It was a new fresh way to look at vampires. I just got my friends a Bella and Edward pendant for my friends for Christmas.
Twilight is an amazing book series.
Twilight is a tad less amazing as a movie.
